Tracking Giant Pandas all over Nature Reserves

In this exciting programme, you will track the giant pandas all major nature reserves located in Sichuan, Gansu and Shaanxi provinces, China.

We will arrange it till opening of 2008 Olympic Beijing, to attract all attentions from all over the world to this dangerous creature and it's threatened habitat. These people (zoologist, scientist, expert, journalist, reporter, conservationist, giant panda lover etc) are very welcome to participate in this project.

Various activities involved in this programme to show your concerns on this lovely but threatened giant panda, such as: tour and shopping in reserves, researching, ranging investigating, introduce lovely panda to others, suggestion on protection, writing to the public, adopting a giant panda, donation to nature reserve etc.

In this programme, interview with expert, reserve staff, scientist will be arranged  in almost each reserves. 

And following itinerary is for you to understand more about the conditions and habitat of wild giant pandas in general, as well as conservation efforts from all over the world.

Following itinerary can be separated into 3 sections, and you can enjoys one section each time as well as full itinerary one time. Also can be adjusted according to your request.

Chengdu, Leshan, Dafengding (Meigu county & Mabian county), Yele in Mianning county, Labahe in Tianquan county, Fengtongzhai, Wolong, Zhagunao (new discovered, soon establidhed), Baodinggou, Baiyang in Songpan county, Jiuzhaigou, Wujiao in Nanping county, Baishuijiang in Wenxian county / Gansu province, Taibaishan in Taibai county / Shaanxi province, Zhouzhi in Zhouzhi county / Shaanxi province, Changqing in Yangxian county / Shanxi province, Guangyuan city, Tangjiahe in Qingchuan county, Si'er, Wanglang, Xiaohegou in Pingwu county, Piankou, Xiaozhaizigou, Qianfoshan in Beichuan county, Chengdu, Anzihe in Chongzhou county, Longxi-hongkou in Dujiangyan.

Day01, Arr Chengdu, overnight in Chengdu, introduction to this itinerary and programme.
Day02, Chengdu--Mt.Wawushan, interview with reserve staff, tracking for wild giant panda, stay in hotel for nihgt.
Day03, To Leshan, visit Giant Budhha, then to Meigu county, overnight in Meigu county.
Day04, Meigu to Dafengding Reserve, guest house or camp for night.
Day05-06, Tracking Giant Panda led by ranger in wild mountain and primitive forest, camp for night.
Day07, Back to Meigu, then to Xichang for good rest in hotel.
Day08, Xichang city tour, hotel for night.
Day09, To Mianning from Xichang, stay in Mianning for night.
Day10, Drive to Yele Reserve for night.
Day11-12,  Tracking Giant Panda led by ranger in mountains and valley, camp for night.
Day13, Drive to Tianquan county for night.
Day14-15, Drive into Labahe River reserve for tracking giant panda and watch bird, enjoys flowers and rare plants, camp for night.
Day16, Drive into Fengtongzhai Reserve in Baoxing county, overnight in guesthouse in Fengtongzhai for night.
Day17-19, Tracking Giant Panda led by ranger in wild mountain and primitive forest, camp for night.
Day20, Drive back to Chengdu for good rest.
Day21, See off at a'port.

Day13, Drive to Wujiao reserve in Nanping county via Wanglang reserve, guest house for night.
Day14, One day tracing giant panda in Wujiao reserve, guest house for night.

Day17, Drive back to Xiaohegou reserve for interview, to Pingwu for night.
Day18, Drive to Tangjiahe reserve in Qingchuan county, and stay in guest house for night.
Day19-21, Tracking giant panda in Tangjiahe reserve,leading by ranger, camp for night.
Day22, Back to Deyang for night.
Day23, Back to Chengdu, and interview in Chengdu Breeding & Research Base of Giant Panda, hotel in Chengdu for night.
Day24, Leave Chengdu, see off at a'port.
