Itinerary

 

Day 01: arrived in Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu where is the jumping-off point for the tour. Then take the taxi by yourself to Binjiang or similar hotel, where you can have a good relaxation and enjoy Chengdu's night piece. (L/D)

 

Day 02: Chengdu-Leshan-Emei

We will drive to Leshan (2 hours), visit Leshan Buddha, which is about 233 feet high and also is  the biggest Buddha stone carved status in the world. Facing the river, the Buddha has symmetrical posture and looks which have been beautifully captured in its solemn stillness. Follow it we go on to visit Lingyun Temple. After that catch a boat to see the giant Buddha on the river. Lastly, go to Emeishan, and overnight in Emeishan. (L/D) 

 

Day 03: Emei-Chengdu

In Emeishan we will go to Golden Summit (1.3 hours) by green bus, walk 2 km (about cost 40 minutes) to cable car station. Then take it to the top, where situated two temples (the friendly Woyun Nunnery and the large HUazang Temple) and thousands of padlocks inscribed with couples' names to symbolize eternal love. We will visit Huazang Temple after lunch. And see the cloud sea if it possible. Lastly come back to Chengdu. (B/L)

 

Day 04: Chengdu -Dujiangyan-Maoxian-Songpan-Jiuzhaigou

We will leave Chengdu for Jiuzhaigou. On the road pass Dujianyan, which is a famous irrigation system made by old Chinese people. And go pass the Maoxian, exihaizi (earthquake lake) and Songpan old town lastly arrive at Jiuzhaigou. (B/L/D)

 

Day 05: Jiuzhaigou

By green bus visit Jiuzhaigou: Waterfalls in Pearl Sands, Nuorilangand and Shuzheng , Shuzheng lake, Panda lake, Chang lake, five colors lake, Tiger lake, Rhinoceros Lake and the Tibetan mills. The countryman's local Tibetan culture show is available in evening, the price is about RMB180/person (excluded), overnight in Jiuzhaigou. (B/L/D)

Jiuzhaigou is a national nature reserve. It has been known throughout the world as a Paradise in the World and Fairyland on the Earth for its crystal lakes and waterfalls, virgin forests, rare animals, and birds.

 

Day 06: Jiuzhaigou -Huanglong-Maoxian Qiang Autonomous county  

After breakfast we will drive to Huanglong , trekking visit Huanglong valley, the whole sightseeing in huanglong takes about 3-4 hours, the average altitude of Huanglong is 3200M,so do not  push yourself in order to avoid the altitude sickness. Then go on to Maoxian, it is a time consuming trip due to the long distance. Overnight in Maoxian. (B/L/D)

P.S. If the ice cover the road, we will skip Huanglong park and visit Muni gorge Park.

 

Day 07: Mao County - Dujiangyan - Chengdu

We will leave Maoxian for Chengdu by the way of Dujiangyan. (B/L/D)

 

Day 08: Chengdu

Today we will have a Visit to Chengdu's Wangjiang Bamboo Park. Bamboo is panda's favorite. However the different kinds of bamboos planted in park is not for food but for view. Wenshu Temple is another destination, where is a famous Buddha temple in China.  At the same time we will do some shopping. After lunch go to airport. Then all services ends. (B/L)
