Itinerary

Day 01: arrived in Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu where is the jumping-off point for the tour. Then take the taxi by yourself to Binjiang or similar hotel, where you can have a good relaxation and enjoy Chengdu's night piece. (L/D)

 

Day 02: Chengdu-Leshan-Emei

We will drive to Leshan. It will cost about 2 hours. Then visit Leshan Buddha, which is about 233 feet high and also is  the biggest Buddha stone carved status in the world. Facing the river, the Buddha has symmetrical posture and looks which have been beautifully captured in its solemn stillness. Follow it we go on to visit Lingyun Temple. Then have lunch. After that take a boat to see the giant Buddha. Lastly, go to Emeishan, and overnight in Emeishan. (L/D)

 

Day 03: Emeishan

In Emeishan we will go to Golden Summit (1.3 hours), walk 2 km (about cost 40 minutes) to cable car station. Then take it to the top, where situated two temples (the friendly Woyun Nunnery and the large HUazang Temple) and thousands of padlocks inscribed with couples' names to symbolize eternal love. We will visit Huazang Temple after lunch. And see the cloud sea if it possible. And overnight in Emei. (B/L)

 

Day 04: Emei-Zigong

We will leave Emei for Zigong. And visit Salt Museum and Dinosaur Museum. The Salt Museum shoe us the salt industry of the Han period and its realistic manner of different stage. And Dinosaur Museum, is a large museum which has been built at the world-famous Dashanpu Dinosaur Fauna. It is also the first professional dinosaur museum in China and one of the three largest dinosaur museums with burial site in the world. And we spend our night in Zigong. (B/L/D)

 

Day 05: Zigong-Dazu

Drive to  Dazu, admire stone inscriptions of Dazu Beishan, which is reputed as the Homeland of Buddha Stone Carvings. And at night we will still stay at Dazu. (B/L/D)

 

Day 06: Dazu

We will acquaint ourselves with religious beliefs with more than 50,000 Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian statues through some carving. And till overnight in Dazu. (B/L/D)

 

Day 07: Dazu-Chengdu

We will come back to Chengdu and visit Chengdu Panda Base meet lovely panda bear. (B/L/D)

 

Day 08: Chengdu

Today we will have a Visit to Chengdu's Wangjiang Bamboo Park. Bamboo is panda's favorite. However the different kinds of bamboos planted in park is not for food but for view. Wenshu Temple is another destination, where is a famous Buddha temple in China.  At the same time we will do some shopping. After lunch go to airport. Then all services ends. (B/L)
