In the Han Dynasty, Sima Xiang-ru opened the Lingguan Path. Since then, Yingjing brick tea has been flowing to the Tibetan areas through the path. So it has become a link between the Han and the Tibetan civilization. D4. Ya'an / Kangding Paomashan Hotel While traversing the Western Sichuan Plain on bus, we can appreciate the idyllic scenery, visit the local people; while climbing over Mt. Erlang, we can fell the nature and appreciate the splendor of Mt. Gongga in the distance and the beautiful sunset glow. D5. While the bus on the peak of Mt. Zheduoshan, 4216m above sea level, we can appreciate the majestic appearance of Mt. Daxueshan. Visit the local family-Tibetan nomadic tribe, which is on the foot of Mt. Zheduoshan, taste buttered tea made by brick tea, and cheese. While arrival in the Buddhism Holy Land--Tagong, we pay a visit to Tagong Monaster and its magnificent shrines. After through the Songlinping Grassland with various flowers, the peaceful and beautiful Ranwu Monastery is a next visiting spot. D7. Daohu / Gazi (asphalt road) Kangba Hotel It is 185 Km from Daohu to Gazi, while climbing over Mt. Luogozi we can appreciate the "Shangrila" since in the basin. D8. Gazi Kangba Hotel Visit Gazi Temple in the morning and sightseeing in the afternoon. D9. Gazi / Dege (broken stones road) Derge Hotel It is 206Km from Gazi to Dege. It is totally 136Km. by way of Gangtuo, we will visit the charity hospital set up by an Italian scholar. And then go through Gangtuo Grand Gorge to the first city of Jiangda in West Tibet. D11.Jiangda / Qamdo (broken stones road) Jinhui Hotel Crossing Dalama Mt., drive 247Km to the third largest and an important city of Chamdo in Tibet. D12. Chamdo Jinshui Hotel Visit Qiangba Monastery and stroll in Chamdo County and the market. D13. Chamdo / Bangda Airport Hotel Crossing Langla Mountain, driving 166Km and 3 hrs, we enter into the extensive grasslands, eagles, foxes and Mongolian gazelles are in our sight. D14. Bangda / Chengdu Leave Bangda at 09:15 by flight SZ4408 for Chengdu.
